Also, wir müssen schnell vorangehen. Also, wir beginnen mit 2. Mose.

[3:55] Wir machen jetzt einfach nur bestimmte Reihen. Also hier, 2. Mose, 1-4. Und dann die Reihen in der Mitte. Die Kapitel 6-12. Hintere Reihen. Kapitel 14-20.

Irgendjemand? Habt ihr etwas gefunden in dem Kapitel? Ja, just come on.

In Kapitalität. Jesus, right? Mose war der Retter. Und dann wurde Mose, der Retter, geboren. Jesus, right? Mose wird aus dem Wasser gezogen. Jesus kommt aus dem Wasser heraus. Wo? So weit, so gut? Sehr gut. Let's see.

[7:29] Kapitel sechs bis zwölf. Come on up. Now, before he speaks, I'm gonna say something. It's fine, so go ahead and share. Sorry for the setup.

Pharaoh tries to prevent this as a cause of the hardening of his heart. I didn't get that. Pharaoh tries to prevent this as a result of the hardening of his heart. Nicht alle, Entschuldigung. Ah, okay. As a result of this the plagues happen. Okay. So what is Moses doing? Just pause right there, my friend. What is Moses doing in these chapters? Moses delivers the message to Pharaoh to let the people go. Okay. And what is he doing? What is the meat of these chapters? What is Moses doing? I guess being an interceder. Say again? I guess being the middle man between God and Pharaoh. Okay. Think about it. You're a kid, a child, reading these chapters. What is Moses doing? He's doing miracles. Yeah. Pretty simple.

[10:22] So, and here's why I said what I said before you came up. Because you're looking at the plagues, right? And some of you are probably thinking, plagues, plagues, okay. Jesus' birth. He goes to deliver his people. And then plagues. Jesus didn't do any plagues. But we don't need to take it to plagues. Moses simply performed miracles to deliver his people. Got it? So, you can go ahead and sit. Thank you.

[11:09] So, what is the parallel? Jesus, drawn out of waters, goes into the wilderness, returns to deliver his people, and then begins to perform miracles to deliver his people. You got that so far? All right, very good. Now, what's next?

[11:39] We have 14 to 20. Who's got 14? Back row back there? Anyone 14 to 20? Oh, I'm sorry. How could I forget? Exodus 12 ends with what? Passover. He said it, yeah. Jesus, drawn out of water, goes into the wilderness, returns to deliver his people, begins to perform miracles, Passover. Jesus is what? His death. Do you see that?

[12:40] So, watch this. From Exodus 1 to Exodus 12 covers the history in shadow form of Christ's birth, ministry, and death. Anyone? Get German with me. Let's make a deal, all right? One excitement, we'll do German, and then the other excitement, you do American. Not American, because we do it in America, too. America is just like this. So, we'll do Pastor Myers' excitement. All right. Whatever she just said. I just translated what you said. All right.

[13:37] So, you've got birth all the way to the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. So far, so good. So, now we know that whatever comes after must shadow chronologically after the death of Christ. Does that make sense?

[14:07] All right. So, 14 to 20, what do we have? We have the deliverance of Israel through the Red Sea. Pause. What is the Red Sea a symbol of? Baptism. Was there a baptism of the church sometime after the death of Jesus? Pentecost. Are you guys getting the hang of this? All right. Go ahead. Keep going.

[14:49] Israel is in the wilderness and murmurs. Murmurs. Okay. So, Israel is in the wilderness. They murmur. Very good. And then there is the covenant at Sinai where they get the Ten Commandments. Okay. Very good. Thank you.

[15:28] So, we have the deliverance of Israel through the Red Sea. All right. So, we have the deliverance of Israel through the Red Sea. All right. So, we have the deliverance of Israel through the Red Sea. All right. So, we have the deliverance of Israel organized given the new covenant and ready to go forward into all the world. All right.

[16:37] What comes next? We have 24 to 33. Who wants to share 24 to 33? Now. Prepare to straighten your faces.

[17:14] It starts with the Israelites collecting things in order to produce the sanctuary. And some of the furniture that will be in the sanctuary is being explained. The high priestly robe is being explained. The Sabbath is put on a pillar. It's emphasized. And Moses receives the tables of the law. But at the same time, the people have a separation taking place within the people. A division, a separation between those that follow God and Moses and those that cling to the calf. And we're told that 3,000 men are being slaughtered, killed. And the rest of the people confess, have a conversion. Okay, very good.

[18:29] All right. So, what happens in Exodus 24 to 33? Something actually very, very interesting. Moses receives instructions on the sanctuary. But where does he receive them? In the mount, right? And how does he get there? What did he do? Well, think about it. It's in Exodus 24. Moses is called up.

[19:32] Now, can someone describe to me how he was called up or what was the visual effect of Moses being called up? A what? His face was shining. Okay. But no, something else happened. His face was shining when he came down. But how did he go up? Flash and thunder. Flash and thunder, okay. Something else of nature. He said earthquake. What? A cloud. A cloud received Moses out of their sights. Ascension to heaven. There you go. Ascension to heaven. Moses ascends. The Bible says that a cloud covered him as he ascended. Is there a parallel? Jesus ascends. A cloud receives him out of their sights.

[21:25] Now, watch this. From chapter 24 to chapter 32 Moses is up in the mount. The people below begin to say to themselves Wow! He sure is taking a long time to come back. Well, let's see. While he's gone why don't we change our worship style a little bit? Why don't we change our worship style a little bit? We're still dedicated to God. They said today is a feast unto the Lord. We're still dedicated to God. But let's change the way we do things. We're basically looking at, in these chapters, the apostasy of the church after Jesus ascended to heaven.

[22:59] Now, here's something interesting. We're basically looking at, in these chapters, the apostasy of the church after Jesus ascended to heaven. We're basically looking at, in these chapters, in Exodus 33 Moses comes and when he comes, we know that there was one group of people that did not participate in the apostasy. And we know that when he came down from the mountain there was one group of people that did not participate in the apostasy. Who were they? The Levites. As a result of their not participating in the apostasy what are they blessed with? The priesthood. As a blessing for that as a reward for that they were blessed with the priesthood.

[24:21] Check this out. There are two ways we can go with this. I have a question for you. Is there a time that the Bible says that Jesus came somewhere after the apostasy of the dark ages? Where? 1844. Okay.

[24:54] Check this out. So I have to step away from her so I don't hit her in my excitement. I have to step away from her so I don't hit her. The Bible says that in 1844 Jesus came to the most holy place if you will. Now remember the people on earth thought that Jesus was what? Going to come in a literal sense to the earth. Check this out. In 1844 and the years leading up to that the dark ages the people were in apostasy but by 1844 there was a group of people who refused to participate in the apostasy of the other churches. Guess what God blessed them with? The priesthood. The sanctuary. Beloved. You are the Levites. The last day Levites of God. Amen. You're no longer Germans if you're a German. You're no longer Germans if you're a German it's over. You can never go back. Let's see who else I can win over. Oh boy. You know I'm just playing with you guys. Praise God.

[27:15] Do you see this? Beloved the word of God is divinely designed. By the way the other way we can look at this is that when Jesus literally comes again his people enter heaven to serve 1,000 years as priests. Amen.

[27:57] And the book ends Exodus 40 or 35 to 40 end with the completion of the temple and the glory of God inhabiting that temple. When the work of God is finished on this earth Jesus will come again to receive his people. Amen.

[28:29] Alright. Very good. That's the book of Exodus. How much time do we have? Two hours? Yeah, you really get me in trouble then. Alright. Let's see. It's half an hour? Alright.

[28:52] Let's Alright. We'll do the book of Leviticus and then we're gonna go to 1 Samuel and we'll wrap it up with 1 Samuel. Is that okay? Alright.

[29:12] So, the book of Leviticus we're gonna go with Leviticus chapters 1 to 7. Let's have this group here. Take 1 to 7. The first 3 or 4 rows right here. 1 to 7. Let's have Leviticus 8 and 9 right here. First 2 rows. Leviticus 8 and 9. Leviticus 10. That group right there. Okay. Let's go with Leviticus 11. Leviticus 11. Leviticus 12 to 15. Alright.

[30:04] Let's go with the back rows for Leviticus 16 and 17. Leviticus 16 and 17. Okay. Let's go over over here middle rows 18 to 22. Let's see. Alright.

[30:32] Let's go with the back group over there 23. Very easy. 23. The back row. I'm gonna give you 24, 25 and 26 and you have to look at each of those chapters as separate. Okay? So, don't group them together.

[31:07] Alright. The back group back there when you're looking at Leviticus 26 I want you to focus especially on chapters 34 and 35. 34. Okay. We're gonna try to wrap these last ones up quickly because I actually want to get one more book in here if we can.

[31:39] Alright. So Leviticus 1 through 7. If you just call it out. Leviticus 1 through 7, right? What do you have? Okay. They found sacrifices. Right? Okay. So very simple Leviticus 1 through 7 is all about sacrifices.

[32:14] So I have a question. Where are we beginning in our shadow form with the book of Leviticus? Where? The cross. Absolutely. So we know that everything after that is gonna follow chronologically.

[32:40] Okay. What happens in 8 and 9? Who's got 8 and 9? Okay. Okay. They want you to come to the microphone. Sorry. Come.

[33:10] Chapter 8 and 9 is about Aaron and his sons how they're being cleansed and dressed. Go ahead. You got it. Alright.

[33:30] So look at what's happening. In 8 and 9 you have the organization of the priesthood. Alright. So what's our type? What's our shadow? Okay. The inauguration of Jesus as the high priest but also the inauguration of Aaron's sons. Alright. That would be the church. You are a royal nation, a royal priesthood. 1 Peter, right? Okay.

[34:28] Alright. So very good. We have the setting up of God's priesthood on earth. That means we see here the setting up of the priesthood of God's priesthood on earth. What happens in chapter 10? Aaron's sons offer strange fire they transgress instruction and are judged. So thank you. You got it.

[35:06] Look at what's happening in 8, 9 and 10. A priesthood is being set up and a priesthood is being removed. Tell me. What comes to mind? After the death of Christ was a priesthood set up and a priesthood removed? Who was the removed priesthood? Israel. Absolutely. Very good. Very good.

[35:45] Alright. So far so good. Now what happens in Leviticus 11? Who's got 11? Did I not give 11? Oh. You guys. Okay. What's Leviticus 11 about? Unclean, clean and unclean food and that we should be holy because God is holy. Clean and unclean animals. Clean and unclean animals.

[36:29] Does anyone remember any time shortly after Jesus' death a transition of priesthood of anything happening with clean and unclean animals? What are we talking about? Peter's vision. There is no difference the gospel is to be taken to all. We're looking at the shadow found in the book of Leviticus.

[37:11] What happens in 12 to 15? Who had 12 to 15? Over there. Do you want to go to the microphone? We had the cleansing of leprosy which is a picture for the cleansing of sin. Is there something else in those chapters? I'll help you. Very good. Go ahead.

[38:10] Wasn't there also a problem in the early church about the blood that they should not eat and about the circumcision there was also a conflict between the disciples for the gentiles who had become Christians and the Jewish people namely this conflict between those who had become Christians from the Gentiles and the Jewish Christians who tried to exert pressure. So we can relate to this question who is pure and who is unclean this conflict between pure and unclean.

[39:10] Is that okay? 12 to 15 covers the law of motherhood and the work of cleansing from leprosy. Now think about it in the New Testament church or in the New Testament when we're talking about motherhood who are we thinking about? The church. Think carefully. What does leprosy represent? Sin. And what is the work of the church? What is the work of the church? To help in the process of cleansing from what? Sin.

[40:15] So look at what's happening. You have the sacrifice of Christ a transition of the priesthood a removing of a profane priesthood no distinction between clean and unclean when it comes to people the church being commissioned to participate in the work of cleansing people from their sins through the preaching of the gospel.

[40:56] What comes next? Leviticus 16 and 17. What does that chapter cover? Leviticus 16 everyone. The day of Atonement. So check it out. Cross of Christ. Transition of the priesthood. The work of the church. Preaching the gospel. The removing of sin. No difference between clean and unclean. And then the day of Atonement. Which we know as the investigative judgment.

[41:46] Here's what happens next. From 18 to 22 covers unlawful sexual relationships. It talks about sorcery, witchcraft and unlawful sexual relationships. Think with me. Somebody said in the back Babylon. Mystery Babylon. Mother of what? Harness and abominations of the earth. From Leviticus 18 to 22 lists everything that God considers an abomination. Isn't that interesting? The book of Leviticus that you thought had no rhythm or rhyme is actually laying out the great controversy in chronological order.

[43:09] Look what happens next. Chapter 23 covers the feast days. Alright. Don't get nervous. What are the feast days doing? What are they doing? What are they showing us? They are a shadow of what? The entire plan of salvation. In other words at the end of time when the investigative judgment is going on and the warning of Babylon is going forward the full gospel of Jesus Christ is also being preached in all the world.

[44:05] Check this out. In 25 you have the Jubilee. The Jubilee. Can anyone tell me what the Jubilee was about? It was the releasing of all slaves. The people were set free. It was a grand celebration. Can anyone tell me what the Jubilee was about? The ultimate Jubilee. When Jesus comes again.

[44:59] Check this out. Do you know what Leviticus 26 is about? Leviticus 26 is a curse. Here is the curse. Because you did not observe the Sabbath in your land the land will lay desolate. What? The 1000 year millennium the land lays desolate. Because guess what? The earth ignored God's Sabbath. That's the book of Leviticus.

[45:58] Alright. Are you ready for two more books? I'm not even going to break you up. I'm just going to tell you. Is that okay? Alright.

[46:12] The book of Judges. In Judges chapter 1 and 2 Joshua dies and Israel goes forward to conquer without a leader. Just as Jesus dies and the early church goes forward preaching the gospel without a physical leader. If you are with me so far just say Amen.

[46:53] From 3 to 12 of the book of Judges you have victories of Israel but you also have compromises of Israel. Do we see that in the early church? They went forth with victory but they also compromised. Are you with me so far?

[47:23] Check this out. From 13 to 17 is the story of Samson and Delilah. The man of God is seduced by a harlot. You have the death of Jesus the church goes forward without a leader they experience victory but they also compromise. Does a harlot come on the scene to begin to seduce the people of God? The people of God to seduce the people of God? Absolutely.

[48:37] But guess what happens? You will never believe what happens. In Judges chapter 18 a man by the name of Micah introduces his own new religion. Micah and sets up his own priesthood. I hope you are getting this. We are looking in the book of Judges at the history of the church. They compromise. A harlot comes in and introduces a new priesthood.

[49:40] Have any of you ever read Judges 19 to 21 where the man his concubine was raped and then they cut up the pieces and Israel gets into this whole war they get into a war with each other. Anyone ever read those chapters? Have you ever thought those are some crazy chapters? I would think that too. That's crazy. It's interesting. There was no leader and every man did what was right in his sight. It was kind of like the dark ages. It was just chaotic. No order. Chaos.

[50:48] You realize guys that as the harlot comes in and begins to dominate it brings on a time of chaos known as the dark ages. The book actually ends in a chaotic state.

[51:18] Now, I wasn't gonna do this. But I'm gonna do it now. Do you know what book comes after? What book comes after Judges? Ruth.

[51:39] Do you realize that the book of Ruth is about two gentile women? One who says I'm gonna serve the God of my Hebrew mother. The other who says I will not serve that God. A woman comes upon the scene and says I'm going to go and serve the God of Israel. Is there a woman that comes upon the scene after the chaos of the dark ages who says I will serve the God of the Hebrew mother-in-law? German excitement.

[52:47] Beloved. We're gonna close it off right here. We're out of time, right? We're gonna close it off right here. Have you been blessed? I said have you been blessed? Are you excited?

[53:18] Praise God for his word. The Bible is divinely designed. If you found this in one place it might be an accident. But when you find it over and over again in the scripture you know that it is divinely designed. It's my prayer that you will hunger for the word of God that you will find a new excitement in the word of God that will help bring about a revival here in Germany. May God bless you as you continue to study his word.

[54:30] Stand with me please if you will. Heavenly Father. Thank you for your beautiful and rich word. Thank you Lord for giving us eyes to see. Father show us a revelation of Jesus as you showed the disciples on the road to Emmaus. May our hearts burn within us as you walk with us by the way showing us old things and new from the precious word of God. In Jesus precious name we pray. Amen.
